Who operates TikTools

TikTools is operated by B4Battle LLC, 131 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713, United States. References to TikTools in our Terms mean B4Battle LLC.

Payment methods

Card payments are processed by Stripe. PayPal is also offered at checkout for API and agency plans; checkout shows the billing periods it is available for. We never see or store your full card number.

Plans renew automatically. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for (Terms, section 5.2).

Invoices

Card payments come with an invoice issued through Stripe. On the Billing page you can view each invoice online or download it as a PDF.

Under Invoice Details on the same page you can add a company or full name, a billing address with country, and one VAT or tax ID for supported countries. These are shown as "Bill to" on invoices created after you save them. Invoices that were already issued keep the details they were issued with.

PayPal payments are confirmed by PayPal's own receipt. They do not appear in the invoice list, and Invoice Details apply to card payments only. If you need a company invoice, pay by card.

Refunds

API and agency plans are non-refundable: the 7-day Sandbox evaluation is there so you can check the product before you pay. If a service is provably broken on our side (a sustained outage), or you were charged twice or in error, we refund or credit the affected amount. Reading hours for the TTS app are the one exception: each account can get one refund of its unused hours. Terms sections 5 and 16 have the full rules.

Where the data comes from

tik.tools reads publicly visible TikTok LIVE activity: who is live, rankings and leaderboards, gifts, chat and viewer activity on public streams. We run our own collection of this public data and keep it, together with creator and gifter statistics derived from it, to power the boards, history and analytics.

When your app connects to a stream through the API, we relay the events to it in real time and do not keep a separate copy for your account. We record usage metrics such as request counts and error rates to run the service and enforce plan limits (see section 5 of the Privacy Policy).

TikTools is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok. TikTok can change or restrict access to its platform at any time; section 5.5 of the Terms explains what that means for your plan.

How the agency Chrome extension uses your TikTok Backstage

The eligibility extension comes with Agency plans and can only be downloaded from a signed-in agency account. It runs in your own Chrome browser and works with the Backstage account you are already signed in to there. It connects to tik.tools through your tik.tools sign-in, not an API key, and every request it makes to us needs an active Agency plan.

In Backstage it makes one kind of request: the invite-eligibility check Backstage itself uses, for up to 30 creator handles at a time with a pause between batches. It does not send invitations, message creators or change any agency settings. To run a check it may open or reload a Backstage tab. If you turn on automatic or queued checks, it runs the same check on a schedule or when you open Backstage.

When you click Connect, the extension sends tik.tools the Backstage session of that browser (its Backstage cookies, which include the sign-in session, and the request tokens Backstage uses) together with your Backstage agency ID. We keep this for up to 24 hours, linked to your tik.tools account, so that results are filed under the Backstage agency they came from and never under another agency. Our servers do not use it to make requests to TikTok: the checks run in your browser.

tik.tools never receives your TikTok password. You sign in to Backstage on TikTok's own page. An optional account-switching setting can save a Backstage password in the extension: it stays in that browser's extension storage and is only typed into TikTok's own sign-in form. When you switch accounts, the extension signs that browser out of Backstage by deleting its Backstage sign-in cookies.

The extension recommends connecting a separate Backstage account that has invite access rather than the agency owner's own account, because high-volume checks can get an account flagged by TikTok.

What it sends to tik.tools: the region and list you chose, and for each creator checked the handle, TikTok user ID, nickname, profile picture and the result Backstage returned (eligible, premium invite only, already invited or with your agency, or not eligible, with the reason Backstage gives). With account switching on, it also sends the sign-in email of the Backstage account in use. We use this to show each creator's status on your roster, boards and rankings, to remove checked names from your team's queue, and to apply your plan's check limits and the hourly pacing per Backstage account.

Our privacy policy sets out what the extension sends us, why, how long we keep it and who can see it.

Service status

The status page shows the current state of the API and the website. Since measuring started, it also shows uptime per day from a check we run every minute, and each incident with its start and end time. Days without a measurement are left out, never filled in.
