REAL-TIME · UPDATED HOURLY · LOCAL STREAM TIME

What's the best time to go LIVE on TikTok?

Aggregated diamond-gift volume across every TikTok LIVE creator we track, bucketed by day-of-week + hour in each event's own local time (a 9pm gift in JP and a 9pm gift in the US both land in the 9pm column). Darker cells = more diamonds gifted at that local hour worldwide. Use it as a baseline for your stream window.

How to read this heatmap

We aggregate every diamond-valued gift our infrastructure observes across TikTok LIVE creators in 28 regions. Each event carries the gifter's country, which we use to shift its UTC timestamp into that region's local clock before bucketing. So a 9pm gift in Japan and a 9pm gift in the US both land in the 9pm column, even though they happened ~14 hours apart in UTC. The heatmap reads directly in "local stream time": if you stream at 8pm wherever you are, the 8pm column is the one you care about.

This is a global view of the LIVE economy - your specific niche or region may differ. For your own region-specific window, check the /ranking page and filter by country or pull the Leaderboard Data API hour-by-hour for your target region.

Frequently asked

When is the best time to go live on TikTok?

Peak diamond-gifting hours globally cluster between 7pm and midnight local time on Friday + Saturday, with a secondary peak around 9pm Sunday. The heatmap above shows your live 28-day window.

Does the heatmap account for different streamer timezones?

Yes. Each gift event carries the gifter's country code. We shift the UTC timestamp into that country's standard local time before bucketing, so a 9pm gift in Japan and a 9pm gift in the US both land in the 9pm column. The grid reads as "local stream time" everywhere on the planet, not a single viewer's clock.

How fresh is the data?

28-day rolling window, recomputed every 30 minutes. The CF-cached version may be up to 30 minutes stale; the background rebuild always uses the latest ClickHouse aggregate.

Does niche matter?

Yes - this is the GLOBAL economy. Gaming streamers, ASMR, music, and dance all have different peak windows. Use this as a baseline; for niche-specific windows, query the Leaderboard Data API filtered by your region.

Is this Tik.Tools data official?

It is aggregated from our own LIVE infrastructure that observes the same public WebSocket gift events that any creator backstage tab shows. It is not endorsed by ByteDance.
